Abstract:
Analysis of the thermal performance in terms of efficiency of briquette boiler has been carried out Lupin pharmaceutical Mandideep Raisen (MP), India. While working under two entirely different working condition, namely the one, where flash steam wastage employed and the second where this process replaced by the installation of flash vessel recovery system. The present study predicts and overall advantage, the second alternative has over the traditional/conventional method of wastage of low pressure flash steam. The proposed replacement results in the improvement of overall thermal efficiency and annual maintenance cost also is reduced considerably due to greater increased running period of briquette boiler.
